Habit Correction
Habit appliances are used to repress and eventually eliminate the habit of tongue thrusting and thumb sucking which causes anterior flare and open bite. They are also used to help intrude posterior teeth. Habit cribs can be added to almost any appliance or as a separate fixed appliance (recommended to reduce patient compliance).
The Exams
During your child’s exam, the dentist will thoroughly examine your child’s teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other health problems. The dentist may also want to take X-rays to see what is happening beneath the surface of the teeth and gums. Whether these X-rays are traditional or digital, the images provided will help the dentist discover dental issues not visible to the naked eye.
Mehul Dhaval2024-06-15Have consulted this dr. for my nephew's tooth treatment and would recommend the drs treatment and advisory. Dr Mayuri really knows how to talk to kids and convince to get the treatment done. Clinic atmosphere is very positive and kids enjoy the environment with games and screen time.
